Happy Birthday to me … Today’s my birthday, and I’m pretty excited not only because it is my day, but also because today is the first day of Pempamsie week. Every day this week, I shall post a picture of a different African print provided by them. They are ‘specialists in natural & organic health & beauty products,’ they also stock African print clothing from various designers.
Today’s attire was designed by Kwabena. I like how the sleeves and lapels have the same shape. I also love how my scarf and this shirt match like two peas in a pod, and turquoise or teal or whatever you call this colour is one of my favourites. Pempmasie is a treasure trove, they have clothing, books, healthy snacks, beauty and healthcare products like shea butter, moringa and a lot more, which you’ll see this week because I tried to take pictures in different areas of the shop.
Do you like the framed pictures behind me? They’re for sale at £29.99 each. ‘I feel good …,’ can you see the James Brown poster just above my head? It’s worth a visit, Pempamsie is located at 102 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1AH, and you can call them on 00(44) 208671 0800.
Michelle, one of the clothing designers, was at the shop during my visit. She was kind and patient with me as I tried on clothes and took photographs. Thanks Michelle.
Thank you Pempamsie for providing today’s African print.
